Front facing pic: product is on the left side of my face, clean dry skin on the right.I knew this would be sheer when I ordered it and that was what I wanted. Something that was skincare with a hint of color just to feel a little better in my skin since I almost never wear foundation. That being said, it is SHEER. Doesn’t do much in the way of color correction but give a nice glowy effect that makes my skin look healthier and more awake. Keeps me from looking washed out. It’s moisturizing and doen’t pill or flake on my skin, doesn’t make dry skin look worse which is a major qualm with most makeup for me. Feels like I’m wearing sunscreen/moisturizer and nothing more. All in all very happy!

This product is really nice. The tint is noticeable enough to wear every day without feeling too heavy, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and it helps add another layer of moisture on top of my daily routines. However, I won't purchase it again because I personally don't like the design of the cap. The bottle cap is a snap closure, but the lid of the cap fits into the dispenser (spout?) part of the cap. So I'll squeeze a small amount that I need onto my finger, but since the dispensing spout would still have product in it, I'll replace the lid and snap it closed, but the lingering product in the spout part will spill over and make a mess of the inside of the lid. Ultimately, I find this wastes product and makes the tube look very messy, which I don't love when using a face product. If this isn't a concern to you, it's great for the price, and I love almost everything else CeraVe makes!

I have sensitive skin, and sensitive eyes apparently, because most sunscreens make my eyes water even when I keep the sunscreen far away from my eyes. I buy sunscreens, my eyes burn, I trash them, over and over. I finally realized that I've been buying chemical sunscreens, and decided to try a mineral sunscreen in the hopes that my poor eyes would let my face have some sun protection. I had read that most mineral sunscreens can be chalky white, but then I stumbled on this one with a light tint to fix the problem of having a white-ish cast after application. I didn't have high hopes, but figured, what the heck. The price is right and the reviews are favorable, so let's give this sunscreen quest one last shot...... Y'all, I have found THE ONE! After literally years of searching and trying well over a dozen different daily sunscreens for face, this is the one! It glides on easily, the tint is perfect (I'm rather pale with pink undertones), and it looks great either by itself or under makeup. I would even go so far as to say makeup looks better with this underneath, and my skin looks nicely smoothed out and feels hydrated. If you're on the fence, give this one a try. Your skin, wallet, and maybe even your eyes will thank you!
